How our journey into photography began
Shannon Chmura, founder of Sly Clover Photography, is all about capturing photos that make her clients feel alive - the real, the lovely, AND the gritty.
“My background is in psychology but I have always had an interest in creativity. This combination inspired my photography style. In 2018, I purchased my first camera to take with me on honeymoon in Ireland. Practicing before the trip, I took photos of my friends at a local CrossFit gym. From that moment on, a spark was ignited. I loved capturing moments that really meant something to people and decided to turn this hobby into a small business. I strive to treat clients like old friends, and use my photos to show the beauty and power I see in you (sometimes through an unexpected perspective or angle). When I’m not snapping photos, you might catch me dancing in a Zumba class, playing with my two dogs, or exploring a new hiking trail.”
